Mother’s Day is around the corner and I wanted to highlight one of my clients who is a mommy you need to know about! Her name is April and she is a mother of 3! From the start I enjoyed training April because she gives 110% during her training sessions. Even when she wants to quit she has this fire in her eyes which pushes her to keep going. She truly is an inspiration!
Being a mom of 3 sometimes her little one’s (Emily 9, Logan 6 and Colt 4) come to training sessions with her. Seeing how April inspires her children and how they motivate her during her workouts warms my heart. Colt cheering, “Go Mommy Go,” as I have April running laps! Logan bragging about how much his mommy can bench and Emily who is an athlete herself doing pull-ups after mommy does hers. They have also become my little assistants helping me put weights on the bar, counting out reps and pushing April aka mommy to be the best that she can be!
April has trained with me since August 2013 but took on my 6 week health coaching program this February where I provided her with meal plans, daily food journal evaluation, exercises for her mindset, encouragement and motivation. In 6 weeks, she lost 10 lbs, 2 pant sizes, inches around her waist and body fat! She has gained strength physically and mentally, more confidence and an understanding of how easy a healthy lifestyle can be. April was ready to make a change, grabbed the bull by the horns and DID IT!
She is not only inspiring her children but her family, friends and me. I aspire to be a mom like her one day! She is a STRONG MAMA!
